Re: TFS Streets/E-303 in a stock 86 short block?

86 pistons have no notches or dish. They are a true flat top piston. 87 LSC's had them as well from what I understand (the E6 heads were used on HO LSC's for '86 AND '87) That being said, The Twisted Wedge heads were actually designed with flat tops in mind and are meant to clear them with ...

Re: Need a good Speed Density friendly cam

... hunting to find the right level it cannot find. The Ford letter cams are not intended for this use but for Mass Air use where a mass air meter is used to measure airflow instead of inferring engine load from intake vacuum levels via the use of the map sensor. In mass air, the map sensor function ...

Timing question...

I have a 95 5.0. I am trying to set the timing. I used white out to mark the bracket and the notch in the pulley. I put my digital timing light on and can not find the timing mark on the pulley. I have gone up and down the scale from 0-25. It seems ...

Re: whats the biggest cam i can run with stock ho short block?

A lot of people have used the max lift number when calculating piston to valve clearance and that is probably the single worst method. When the valve reaches it's maximum ...

Re: Blown heater core again, help!

I would also like to add, that I have a fully ported Holley systemax intake that was going to be used on the 347. The intake was Extrude Hone and then it was hand ported to open up the ports better. It flowed 326 cfm on the flow bench and the TB area was opened up to a ...

Re: Intake and CAM for a 347 N/A

I used the Holley Systemax on my 347 I liked it. I ran the TFS2 cam. It made 365hp/434tq to the wheels. It was hurting when I dynoed it. I found out it had low compression as the rings were worn.
