Re: Gas in Oil pan

The first thing is get rid of that contaminated oil. I had a similar situation. The car ran horrible and blew black junk out the tail pipes. I ended up taking it to a shop and all they did was change the oil!

Re: Engine Shutdown

... a Ford man, seems to think it's the fuel pump or switch for the pump. He suppose to help me check it today and hopefully we can find this thing for sure. If it's the fuel pump that may take a while to get the tank off and get it changed, but if it needs that then it has to be done. I didn't ...

Re: Blown heater core again, help!

... restrictor for the intake line going to the core. They no longer do. a 1/4" 13 mm socket from your local auto parts store will do the same thing. The Ford cores have proven to last longer than most others as well. Double the price, but more than worth it IMHO. Hope this helps :Thumbs^:

Re: Surging Idle

It could be the Idle air control is dirty.

I had to reset my idle and adjust everything recently because my 93 was doing the same thing. If you look in the tech articles on this site there are some good articles on how to set the idle and tps etc.

I'd do some basic stuff first. It seems everytime I jump to a conclusion I end up putting my foot in my mouth cause I overlooked something simple. You know like when you're a kid and you can't get your four wheeler started after your miles in the woods and then after an hour of freaking ...
