The pickup you changed, is that the piece inside the distributor? It's boring, but check for vacuum leaks. I don't think the idle bypass would cause this, but I'd clean it out. If I think of something else I'll pop in. Let me know how you make out.

Alarm problem caused my 5.0 problems

... I want to try and see if the relay is toosted . I suspect the horns are still ok. however some thing in the system failed or cut off to protect something in the wiring. Pictures would greatly help . Sincerely Robert G

Strange horn & none start engine problem

We'd need a ton maore cam specs than what you give. Lift tells you nothing.
Step #1 would be do something about that anemic lower intake.

thunderbird cam selection

... it could produce a negative effect. I would replace it to sure or at least inspect it and the wiring to ensure it didn't hit a header and melt or something along those lines.

1995 GT 5.0

... get it back on the road. Oh yeah, I am getting a check engine light but not sure because i don't have a error code checker yet. I assume it has something to do with the emissions since i took all that out.

Have patients. Your working on something you need more background on. It's either ignition or fuel related. I would go down the fuel route first. There is a sensor in the distributor call a PIP. This is the reference for both fuel and ignition. ...

... want to start on me and i would tap that relay and would work fine till it bumped itself again. Hmmmmmm will check that. I know it's got to be something simple as hell and for a 20 year old car..I know things are gonna start to stop working right..LMAO...But this is driving me crazy!!! LOL
