Experimental intake on SD - will it work?

I'm new here, but I thought maybe I'd post a question about something I'm working on. I built a hot hod with a 5.0 and SD from an '87 ford van a few years ago. I didn't like the looks of the upper intake even though I ran it like that for 5,000 miles. So I hacked up the the upper intake ...

Re: Are 30lb injectors too much?

The stock sensor/housing are meant for use with 19 pound injectors. Ford DID make MAF sensors for other cars that did in fact have 30 pound injectors..... Check the part # on the electronics portion of the sensor and compare it here: http://www.graphicsdept.com/walbro/product/auto_aft/mass/forda.htm ...

... and then I drove it for several week and it happened again. Now it's been sitting in my yard for a week, (no time to work on it) my neighbor, a Ford man, seems to think it's the fuel pump or switch for the pump.
