It could be the Idle air control is dirty.

I had to reset my idle and adjust everything recently because my 93 was doing the same thing. If you look in the tech articles on this site there are some good articles on how to set the idle and tps etc.

... and thermactor codes. I found the tube hanging off the exhaust pipes and put it back on, but I don't think it had anything to do with the stumble because it still does it. Do the charcoal canisters go bad?

In these motors, it is very hard to read plugs for heat range unless you have experience because the Ox sensors keep the A/F ratio so tight and the motors run so clean that it makes the plugs look like they are running lean but is a normal look they have unlike a carburated ...
